Fabryka Elementów Napędowych FENA Sp. z o.o. is a Polish company which designs and manufactures machine parts, especially couplings and brakes for industrial use. The company owes its market position to the high quality of the products on offer, qualified staff and long-term experience.
The company was founded in 1987, producing machine parts and assembling various machines, such as narrow gauge rail cars, among others. Gradually extending production of devices designed by itself, the company has specialised in the production of various kinds of couplings and brakes.
Nowadays, the production program comprises several dozen of couplings and brakes ranges, each of which is produced in several type sizes.

The company also produces special varieties of the abovementioned elements and new designs meeting individual requirements of the client. Moreover, it offers design services in the field of machines and devices, as well as technical counselling services related to machine drives.
The factory has an all-purpose machinery stock, which enables machining such as turning, milling, sanding, chiseling and CNC processing. Milling processing centres enable processing objects with the overall dimension of 800×600×600mm. Furthermore, the company conducts low-carbon steel welding processes and dynamic balancing of elements with a maximum diameter of 1500mm and length of up to 2500mm.
The factory's products are used in many branches of industry, including: mining, metallurgical, coke, shipbuilding, food, chemical and building industies; in drives of such machines as: belt conveyors, scraper conveyors, bucket conveyors cranes, coal miners, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, crushers, stirrers and cranes.
FENA Factory department participates in various shows and conferences taking place in the country and aborad. Moreover, the company permanetly co-operates with universities, including the Silesian University of Technology.
The company's activities are aimed to fulfil the client's needs. Keeping this in mind FENA Factory has implemented and constantly improves the Integrated Quality Management and Environmental Management System acc. to PN-EN ISO 9001: 2009 and PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 and the Quality Assurance Statement acc. to Directive 94/9/WE issued by FTZU Ostrava-Radvanice.
